About our event
Is sex an essential element of a fulfilled and satisfied life? Is it a necessary marker of one’s graduation from childhood to adulthood? Does the call to sexual purity place unfair and unrealistic demands on the single Christian? Does the unmarried person require a special spiritual gift to not give in to their sexual desires?
Join two unmarried theologians for our LIVESTREAMED event as we consider how the world’s concept of sex as an essential part of our self-discovery, self-identification and self-expression compares with what God reveals about his purposes for human sexuality and his call to sexual self-control and holiness. Together we’ll consider whether it is truly possible for the Christian person to really live without sex.
When: Wednesday 19 August, 8-9:30pm.
Where: Your lounge room! Please note: This event is livestream-only.
Please note: online bookings will close 12pm AEDT Wednesday 19 August. Instructions will be emailed to all attendees a couple of hours before the start of the event, so please ensure that the email address associated with your booking is correct.

About our speakers
Would this event be suitable for my youth group/teenager?
As they prepare, our speakers are bearing in mind that it’s likely that there will be teenagers listening to them (recognising there’s a big difference between a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old). Teenagers are more than welcome to join us—with parental permission. But please note: this will not be a youth group talk, and we encourage parents and leaders to help their teens process the content well afterwards through further discussion and/or follow-up.
