About our event
Community is challenging because, quite frankly, it involves people: I want something different from you; you want something different from me; and we probably all need something different than what we want. How do we meet the needs and expectations of individuals while maintaining the interest of the group? As Christians, we look to Jesus as our example: he laid aside his own interests—even his life—for the sake of others; but in practice, this can be difficult. How are we to get on in our churches when our churches are filled with so many different people?
Come to our first event for the year when Chase Kuhn and Paul Grimmond will help us think through how the Bible envisions a community that can be good for all.
When: Wednesday 3 March 2021, 8-9:30pm (GMT +10 Australian Eastern Standard Time).
Where: Your lounge room! Please note: This event is livestream-only.
Please note: online bookings will close 12pm AEDT Wednesday 3 March 2021. Instructions will be emailed to all attendees a couple of hours before the start of the event, so please ensure that the email address associated with your booking is correct.
(Churches and other groups: Instructions will be emailed to you the week beginning 1 February, as well as on 1 and 3 March. Apologies in advance: depending on how early you register, you will receive these instructions multiple times.)
